Business is booming and they have opened ten new stores that are called, “The Sporty One.” The Board of Directors have discussed what CARDWARE should do, which is having a general manager and an assistant manager at each store acting as a salesperson. The slogan that the store is caring is, “You dont have to be an athlete to look and feel like one.” In the store the percentage of women clothing include sixty percent of the store while the mens clothing consists of forty percent of the store. They eventually want the store to be even with men and women clothing. CARDWARE researched the theory for racketing in a clothing store and they would prefer slender, younger employees to work in the stores so that the clothing line that they are selling would keep its image of being sporty. Petunia Rotunda, who is a middle-aged plumped woman, saw the ad that CARDWARE is promoting. The ad states, “WANTED: Salesperson experienced in retail sales or marketing preferred, energetic, youthful, athletic, and able to “sport” the clothing lines of The Sporty One with style.
