I will allow me to show and break down the microeconomics principals and how they focus on the decisions that have made the organization successful such as the core principlethat hassustained the company. This paper will assess the history of the company since its incorporation and the major events that have occurred. Also, I will evaluate the supply and demand conditions for the firm by assessing trends in demand over time and their implications on the airline industry. I will evaluate information and data related to the supply and demand for the firm, which be significant in developing recommendations. Based on the available data and information on the pricing and availability of substitutes, I will determine the price elasticity of demand. In addition, I will illustrate factors that affect consumer responsiveness to price changes and the implication of pricing decisions on revenue. After examining the costs of production for Southwest Airlines and explore the overall market for the firm, I will develop recommendations for how the company can manage future productions.
