Introduction: In this summary report, I am exploring t... he data analyst for a basketball team and a large set of historical data to analyze the performance patterns. The following four variables in the data set will be used: This summary report aims to utilize the team's relative skill and point scored for the total number of game wins. In this project, analyze running simple linear regression and multiple regression using a python programming language. 2. Data Preparation: The avg_pts_differential is represented the average point differential between the team and their opponents in a regular-season. This variable is a difference between the team's middle point and the other team's average point. avg_elo_n is explaining as the averagerelative skill of each team in a regular-season. To analyze the data, I am using these two variables. 3. Scatterplot and Correlation for the Total Number of Wins and Average Points Scored: In general, if both variables increase, then both two variables are a positive correlation. If one variable decreases and the other increases, then it will be a negative coefficient of correlation. The strength and direction of the association between two variables is the coefficient ofthe correlation. A different range of coefficient of correlation, such as -0.30 is a week correlation, -0.50 moderate correlations, and 0.80 -1.0 is a perfec. . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . .. .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
