The following essay is written with the intent to inform the readers of some of these issues and ways to address them. TET1, Issues in Technology Integration, TASK 1: Ethics Technology has been in the classroom for more than two decades now and with that comes a set of issues that requires attention. There are threats to software, hardware, networks, and individual students, staff, and faculty. The following essay is written with the intent to inform the readers of some of these issues and ways to address them. Instructional Setting The instructional setting is a fifth-grade class at Garden Elementary in Venice, Florida. Garden Elementary is a Title-1 school with a total of 605 students in grades Kindergarten through fifth grades. There is a total of 120 fifth grade students in five separate classes. This class has 25 students. The class has access to a computer cart with enough Lenovo laptops for each student to utilize, as well as, a digital whiteboard for the teacher. The class is supported by one full time teacher and one part time teachers aide.
