This paper will discuss my strengths and weaknesses as a leader as seen by others and myself. This reflection will be supported by several informal assessments, interviews with those who know me best, and my own personal experiences. From this information, I™ve extrapolated a personal leadership statement that defines who I am and who I wish to be as a leader. Finally, I will address my own opportunities for growth and how I plan to tap into those opportunities. My Strength Assessments I have personally always believed that my greatest strengths lie in my ability to tap into an innovative mindset, my capacity for learning, and my curiosity for the solutions to problems. The VIA institute on character provides a personal strength assessment which seems to validate these beliefs. My top five strength categories according to this survey are as follows: creativity, love of learning, curiosity, honesty, and kindness. In my daily work, I am cognizant about always trying to embody these traits and it seems that others have perceived me in the same way.
