Jewellery industry has been booming in this part of the world, and... more and more citizens of the country are getting involved in buying jewellery products. The sale of luxury jewellery has increased highly in the last few years. However, due to some unethical practices and environmental hazards caused due to this industry, some concerns have been raised in recent years. This study will research the current situation in the jewellery industry in Guizhou province of China. A literature review will be conducted for these issues. The findings will be analyzed by these researches. Lastly, the study will end with the overall view of the topic and some important recommendations on improving the current situation. 1.2 Aim of the Research The aim of the research project is to critically evaluate and explore the situation of Guizhou province in respect to the state owned enterprises in establishing ethical jewellery brands. The research mainly emphasizes on the business operations of the Chinese based jewellery enterprises by critically elaborating the key factors on the feasibility and maintenance of business by abiding the corporate governance and ethical business practices. The significant research aims in providing a prolific idea about the significance of Guizhou province and the luxury of jewellery among the Chinese consumers (Arora, 2014). The Chinese market especially the Guizhou province has observed various sorts of global jewellery organizations that are keen to establish themselves within the area. It has been assessed that over the past few decades the Chinese jewellery enterprises are enhancing at a rapid pace because of the increased demands of the consumers and getting new jewellery products at a rational price. Considering the enhancement of the jewellery business in China, it can be assessed that Guizhou province is the hub for different kinds of jewelleries. The entire area is considered to be a huge site of natural resources in China especially Gold and this has led in enhancement of the jewellery market in this area (Bryson et al., 2013). But, analyzing the advantages of the enhancement of the jewellery industry in China it can be observed that there has been situation of immense resource depletion and environment imbalance. In the recent past it has been assessed that China has eventually become one of the most polluted cities in the world due to its immense industrialization process taken into consideration for economic growth. Due to the rising environmental concern and depletion of resources China has been facing immense crisis in terms of ecological balance. Thus, the specific aim of the research work is to critically find and analyze the significant ways of ecological balance needed to protect the Guizhou province and follow ethical standards to establishment of ethical jewellery brands by maintaining the environmental conservation and protection rules and regulations. 1.3 Research Objectives Critically assessing the significance of the chosen topic, the research study will be based on attaining key objectives. Evaluating the business operations of the state owned jewellery enterprises in China this specific research would emphasize on critically attaining the objectives stated. The research objectives framework prolifically enables to highlight the key aspects of the research and helps in critically analyzing the key factors that enables in evaluating the various factors taken into consideration for completion of the proposal. The following are the key objectives based on which the research study on the chosen topic will commence.  To critically analyze and evaluate the situation of Guizhou province in respect to the state owned jewellery enterprises in establishing ethical jewellery brands.  To critically analyze the Chinese government rules and regulations in regards to resource conservation and environmental protection in the province of Guizhou.  To provide an in-depth analysis about the future developments of the state owned jewellery enterprises in respect to ethical business operations.  To discuss of ethical selling and manufacturing of jewellery brands in the Guizhou province.  To critically analyze and evaluate the key policies of the jewellery market and the enhancement of jewellery rate in China.  Lastly, to analyze the impact of corporate governance and ethical business operations of the jewellery enterprises in regards to development of a healthy environment.
