Horse jumping is also known as show jumping. It is a sport that involves a competitive riding of horses over a set of obstacles whereby, the winner is established according to agility and speed. Show ... jumping is essentially one of the most exciting equestrian sport. The goal of the game is for the horse and the rider to make it through the obstacles without dropping them within the optimum time. The competition has been featured in the Olympic Games. The game varies depending on the type of terrain and fences. The rider is supposed to jump an average of ten to fifteen jumps across the barriers without including combinations. The game can be improvised to cater for all types of raiders including the beginners. The primary focus of this study is to discuss the skills, materials, rules, aims, and benefits of the game.
